It’s with great sadness that we have to inform you of the passing of Bashira our female Bactrian Camel, on the evening of the 29th August. Bashira has been receiving amazing medical care from our keepers and our veterinary team for a long time, managing her arthritis and her mobility.
Bashira has been a massive part of our family for many years. She was our largest animal at the park and was well-loved by all the keepers and visitors. Her keepers truly adored her and she was treated like royalty and was always spoilt. She was always happy to see her keepers and loved to receive all their attention.
We are all heartbroken, and she has left a massive hole in our hearts. However, she will always be remembered and loved.
