International Volunteer Day

5 December 2021

Thank you to all our Volunteers!

Today is International Volunteer Day!

International Volunteer Day was appointed by the United Nations in 1985 as a day to celebrate volunteering and help raise awareness of the contribution they make to their communities. It is also seen as a chance for organisations to thank the volunteers for their passion. The act of volunteering itself is found across the world and each year, people all over the world volunteer their time and skills to help make the world a better place.

We would like to take this moment to thank all our 114 volunteers across the site, from zookeeping to gardening to the volunteers who run our conservation cabin. We would like to say a massive thank you for all their continuous hard work and dedication here at Paradise Wildlife Park. Without our volunteers and their passion, it wouldn’t be possible to continue the work that we do.

If you are interested in volunteering here at Paradise Wildlife Park please contact us: volunteer@pwpark.com
