Group Booking Discounts

- Groups must be pre-booked around 3 weeks prior to your visit.
- Group rate only available to charities and organisations
- We have limited availability on weekends for charities/organisations excluding school holidays
- Your admission does not include the following areas:
- Tumble Jungle – Soft Play Area
- Boulders Beach – Splash Pool
Cost of Entry
- £20.00 per person
- You must have at least 1 adult per 6 children onsite.
Optional Extras
- Ice Creams can be pre-order with our Catering Department via email – ian.dawe@hertfordshirezoo.com
- Goody Bags are £6.00 and contains 1 of each of the following:
- Pencil
- Rubber
- Pen
- Small Notebook
You will have the option to choose either Hertfordshire Zoo logo or the World of Dinosaur logo.

Payments
- Groups must be pre-booked around 3 weeks prior to your visit.
- An Invoice will be sent to you. Invoices cannot be adjusted once they have been raised. The Invoice amount, is the amount you pay in advance.
- Payment must be made at least 10 days prior to your visit.
- Payments can be made by either BACS, Cheques or over the phone with a Credit or Debit Card.
- Payments CANNOT be made after your visit. A late payment fee will apply if the invoice has not been paid before their visit
Cheques for entry tickets and educational talks are to be made payable to Hertfordshire Zoo. Please allow time for cheques to clear before the visit.
Cheques for goody bags, train rides, ice creams etc are to be made payable to Hertfordshire Zoo Ltd.

Important Information To Know After Booking
- Wristbands will be provided on the day of your visit. Wristbands must be worn at all times.
- Any extras will need to pay for their entry ticket online in advance.
Other Information
We do have a sheltered area outside our Zoo Shop, in a stretch tent, or at Picnic Tent located between our snow leopard and penguin habitats for all groups to eat their packed lunches. This is based on first come first served basis and can be shared with others.
The admission includes the following:
- World of Animals
- Dance Stage Shows (during school holidays/bank holidays and weekends)
- Animal Shows Meeting the Keeper at Animal Habitat for talks
- World of Dinosaurs – Our Dinosaurs are animatronic, and all move and make lifelike noises.
The Additional attractions to pay for which are optional are:
- Rex Express (Dinosaur Train Ride) = £2 per person (card payment only)
- Crazy Golf = £3 per person (card payment only)
