Reticulated Python

The diamond pattern on their back gives them their name (reticulated) and helps them camouflage.


Reticulated pythons are the longest snakes in the world, growing to just over 28 feet in length with the longest one ever recorded reaching 34 feet. The Reticulated Python is one of the few snakes that can open its mouth to 180 degrees and sometimes even more!
