Did you know that the White Lion is the second-largest of the big cats? They are known to be incredibly social cats and will often form a pride with related females residing together.
Unfortunately, they are also classed as a Vulnerable species, meaning that we have to do all that we can to protect these wonderful animals. Here at Hertfordshire Zoo we are committed to protecting all animals, and with our adoption packages you too can support our efforts.
By adopting our White Lions you aren’t only supporting one animal, but you’re supporting the conservation efforts of the Zoo! Our adoption packages are only £49 for an entire year.
Your adoption package includes a personalised adoption certificate and a photograph of your chosen animal. You will also have your name added to our very own adoption board of honour!

For as little as £49 for a full year you can help Hertfordshire Zoo to play an active role in conserving animals from around the world. Every day another species of animal or plant will disappear from our planet forever!
All Adoptees will receive a presentation pack including:
- Personalised adoption certificate
- Photograph of chosen animal species
- Keyring and pen
- Photo magnet
- Soft toy of your chosen animal species
- Your name will be added to the adoption board of honour until your Adoption expiry date. (please note this can take up to 4 weeks from the start date)
