For the very first time, Hertfordshire Zoo will be welcoming vultures to a brand-new mixed-species habitat. Vultures are the most endangered group of birds in the world and play a vital role in keeping ecosystems healthy.
This new habitat also comes alongside small improvements to our World of Birds, helping visitors enjoy better views and learn more about these incredible animals and the conservation challenges they face.

Get ready to tee off in prehistory! A brand-new 9-hole Dino Golf course is opening in our World of Dinosaurs, offering a fun, interactive experience for all ages.
Perfect for families, Dino Golf adds even more adventure to your zoo visit and is a great way to enjoy the park between animal encounters.

Our lemur’s are getting a major upgrade with a brand-new walk-through habitat that is over four times larger and double the height of the previous enclosure. The new space will be home to three lemur species and offers a more immersive experience for visitors.
This development supports vital conservation work through SEED and contributes to important breeding programmes helping to protect lemurs in the wild.

Our popular Summer Evenings are returning with even more of your favourite character costumes. Enjoy longer days, relaxed evenings, and the chance to experience the zoo in a whole new way as the sun goes down.

With new habitats, family attractions, and seasonal events on the way, there’s never been a better time to visit Hertfordshire Zoo. Keep checking our website and social channels for the latest updates and opening dates.
Adventure, animals, and conservation all in one unforgettable day out. 🦒✨
