Here at Paradise Wildlife Park, we are excited to announce that once again we will be hosting our annual Dine4Wildlife Charity Fundraising Ball. Get ready for a bear-tastic evening on Saturday the 8th of July 2023, as we set out to raise vital funds for wildlife with this year’s focus on The Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre (BSBCC) to coincide with the grand opening of our Sun Bear Heights habitat.
For one evening only, join us for an unforgettable experience, with conservation at the forefront. Enjoy an exclusive drinks and canape reception, a delicious three-course dinner and a night filled with live entertainment and even a grand live auction.
The Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre (BSBCC) work daily in the natural habitats of Sun Bears (Helarctos malayanus) in South East Asia to aid in protecting and conserving the species. Their mission statement aims: ‘to promote sun bear conservation through animal welfare, conservation, rehabilitation, education, and research, giving captured sun bears a better home and restoring their right to live in the wild.’ The main threats are illegal pet trade, poaching, bear bile trade, medicine and habitat loss.
This black-tie charity ball brings to life the impact and progress of both charities, exhibiting the positive, life-changing conservation work taking place across the world with incredible conservation partners including the BSBCC. Join us for this spectacular evening and actively support conservation in action.
