Hertfordshire Zoo offers you the chance to experience first-hand the inquisitive nature of these interesting animals. To make sure that your day is one to remember, your Meet the Lemurs animal experience will begin with welcome drinks in the Zoo HQ!
After you’ve enjoyed your welcome drinks you will be introduced to one of our brilliant Primate Keepers who will escort you to the Lemur enclosure in time for your important health and safety briefing.
Our Lemurs are extremely curious and very friendly, so during your time with these friendly animals you may be treated as a human climbing frame after entering their enclosure. You will be given a specially prepared bowl of their favourite food and you will even have the opportunity to feed the lemurs yourself; making this an experience you will want to tell your friends and family about, so remember to bring your camera!
Throughout your experience the keeper will tell you about our Lemurs cheeky behaviour, feeding, habits and habitat, along with information about the conservation work Hertfordshire Zoo supports. Due to a risk of toxoplasmosis, our Feeding the Lemurs and Feeding a Big Cat Experience are unable to be booked on the same day
Each experience includes admission to the zoo, so you can spend the whole day to explore all of our facilities we have to offer around your experience if you wish.
You can bring guests who pay normal admission prices online in advance but cannot participate in the experience.
